Motus Collective - Purveyors of Fine Taste
Motus Collective is an interdisciplinary collective living at the intersection of visual art, contemporary dance and sound experimentation, and was formed in 2019 by Felicity Boyd and Zoe Gay. Motus Collective aim to provide access to space, to new ideas, ways of moving, creating and thinking, and to connect the artistic communities that exist in South Australia. We aim to provide performance platforms for local musicians, visual and performing artists, dancers and choreographers in a non-hierarchical environment that is financially accessible and has respect for artists as its core tenet.
In 2020 Motus Collective have collaborated with Tom Borgas and Amber Cronin on Hyperobject for Adelaide Festival Centre’s In-Space program, and have been commissioned by Fine Print Magazine to create work for the Art Gallery of South Australia’s Monster Theatres exhibition. Motus Collective are currently developing a series of collaborative dance films with the support of Carclew and Renewal SA.
Perfomances: Thursdays 6 - 7:30pm
